The Akashic Records, also known as the Book of Life, are a collection of information about every person who has ever lived on Earth. They are said to contain every thought, word, feeling, deed, and intent that has ever occurred, for all life forms and entities, not just humans, in the past, present, and future. Theosophists believe the Akashic Records are encoded in a non-physical plane called the mental plane, or imprinted on Akasha, an astral light that exists beyond human senses. Some say that certain people, like spiritualist mediums, can access the Akashic Records.
